Becca’s 5 Halloween Movie Reccs

1. Paranorman – Paranorman is such an underrated gem. Laika’s art-style is so fantastic and the atmosphere of this movie is spot-on for the Halloween season. Paranorman should be put on heavy-rotation alongside films like Coraline, Beetlejuice and Hocus Pocus. 

2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre – Nothing beats a classic, especially when that classic is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This movie is well-loved by many in the horror community and, quite frankly, this love is absolutely deserved. 

3. Terrifier – Terrifier is just a ridiculous film with lines that will make you laugh-out-loud and kills that are so unrealistic and wild, but you just can’t help from watching it over-and-over again. 

4. House on Haunted Hill – “There'll be food and drink and ghosts, and perhaps even a few murders. You're all invited.” – This quote is all I need to know that this is the perfect watch for Halloween. 

5. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark – Halloween is synonymous with Elvira, which is exactly why this film should be included in every Halloween movie marathon. Plus, it’s just so fun and ridiculous and I am here for a good time.
