Halloween Tricks: 2 Truths and 1 Lie with the DHR Team Contributors

Alright ghouls and goblins, monsters and misfits. We’ve given you lots of fun treats this month like Halloween Movie Roundups and Book lists and colouring pages. Now it’s time to show you some of the tricks we’ve got up our sleeves.

We thought it would be fun to get to know each of our contributors a little better by playing a mischievous little game with y’all. Below are some facts written by our DHR Team Contributors, and it’s your job to sift out which of the 3 statements is the lie, and which are true!

  1. I once met Drew Brees in New Orleans while he was walking his dog.

  2. I was once trapped at a gas station for 16 hours with a group of people because of a particularly aggressive flash flood.  Everyone else was rescued except me because I was reading in my car and fell asleep

  1. I did my first mural artwork at age the age of 3 entitled “Humans Walking Pet Porcupines on Leashes” in all black crayon.

  2. As a kid I watched both “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” flicks with my dad & became obsessed with horror movies.

  3. I drew a portrait of George Romero for an illustration class and everyone said they liked my picture of Stan Lee.

Regi

  1. I used to be a personal stylist.

  2. I’ve gone to the World Cup.

  3. I was a performer in award-winning high school musicals.

Dan

1. As a kid I had 11 teeth removed and my mum kept them in a box for years. Probably still has them.

2. I am fluent in Russian.

3. I keep my lights up year round, not just for the holiday season. Same goes for Halloween decorations.
