Five horror movies I enjoy in no particular order:
The Woman In Black (it's just a good story, ok?)
Crimson Peak
It
The Grudge
Stir of Echoes
Ok, five horror (adjacent?) books I enjoy in no particular order:
The Woman In Black by Susan Hill
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
The Shining by Stephen King
Peony in Love by Lisa See (it's not really horror, but deals with 19th century Chinese afterlife and does have some very mild spooky-ish parts)
The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (a short story yes, but damned if being a woman locked in a room to "rest" ain't some messed up shit)
