Inheritance often comes with strings attached, but rarely are they as tangled as those hanging over High Hearth. 

When Eudora Fellowes learns she is the sole heir of her estranged great-aunt's seaside manor, she believes it will be the peaceful escape she's longed for. What awaits, however, is a dark legacy shrouded in half a century of secrets, and it doesn't take long before Eudora realizes she's not the only one to call High Hearth home.

About the Author

S.H. Cooper is a Florida based writer, which is really all you need to know about why horror might be her genre of choice. It's speculated she might have some relation to Florida Man, but so far she's remained tight lipped on the subject. Inheriting Her Ghosts is her sixth book and combines three of her favorite things: dogs, ghosts, and a remote mansion to run dramatically through while holding aloft a candelabra. While she's not British, she did visit the UK once years ago, which is almost the same thing, so writing a Victorian era gothic story set in the English countryside was an obvious choice.

About the Artist

Morrighan Corbel is a UK illustrator and TTRPG artist. She specializes in gothic and fantasy art, having worked on tabletop role playing games, album artwork, and comic covers. Cooper immediately fell in love with her work and knew Corbel would be the perfect artist to capture the feel of IHG. According to her site, "When she isn’t drawing, Morrighan is a keen LARPer, and can be found in various locations hitting things with a foam sword. She also loves collecting antiques and has an ever growing collection of Victorian portrait photographs, which she uses as references and as inspiration for her stories. She now lives in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, in a haunted end of terrace on a road that doesn’t exist any more."
