Women in Horror Month: A Review of “Retail” by Renee Miller

Retail by Renee Miller

First of all, everyone should read Miller's Cats Like Cream. It's a brilliant showcase of what makes her writing so unique and depraved. Trust me. Moving on...

Retail is a fun revenge story, told in an engaging, stream-of-consciousness style. You retail workers out there (grocery store workers in particular) will feel vindicated during the reading of this novella, I promise.

I liked it a lot, although not quite as much as Cats Like Cream.

Grade: B
